Jacksonville Fishing

There's tons of fishing in and around Jacksonville, thanks to the St. John's River, Inter coastal waters and offshore by way of the St. John's River Inlet. If you are into sport fishing, flats fishing, deep sea fishing, drift fishing or just throwing a line off the pier, this location will exceed all your fishing desires!

Local Fishing Tournaments•

Go on an exciting, heart pounding fishing charter and fish for flounder, silver king tarpon, redfish, trout, and sheepshead on the region's rivers and Intercoastal Waterways or hit the seas for some deep sea sport fishing!

Kayak Fishing
Enjoy Kayak fishing in the beautiful intercostals waters!
Surf Fishing
Surf fishing allows you to roam hundreds of miles of coastline (you have to have your own equipment and a salt-water fishing license).

Bridge Fishing
George Crady Bridge fishing pier is considered to be one of the best places to fish in the whole of north east Florida and believe me that is saying something! There is no traffic allowed on this bridge, so you can be assured of a peaceful days fishing; and you will have a good days catch!

In the spring and autumn, there are vast numbers of trout and red fish (though these are present in fewer numbers all year round) Head for the small grass flats to find a variety of other fish. The state record flounder was caught here, so that is a challenge for you! You may also catch jacks, drums and tarpon.
A day of pier fishing can be a family outing. If the kids get bored with fishing, they can wander up and down the pier seeing what other people are catching or they can hit the beach to toss a Frisbee or grab some rays as the beach is just a stroll away.
